ain't it purdy??? I was wavering between this Canon powershot.... and a Canon DSLR. I finally decided on this one, mainly because I really like the video function. The Canon DSLR's don't have that, they are photo only. With the grandbabies, the videos (to me) are just too priceless to give up.
My new buddy is just a little larger than I'm used to... and I have to manually removed the lens cap.... BUT, the photos are so crisp and clear. I have more options to take actions shots, shoot in black & white, record videos and just take simple ol' pictures.
Here is the first photo I took in Best Buy's parking lot....
and a really neat function that I quickly discovered... is that while in movie mode, I can still snap still photos.... WOW, how much fun that will be. (example below)
