it is so often that we get pictures of the grandbabies with Papa... even staging them (LOL). So when I saw this candid pic of Me and Brookie on my camera, I had to smile. (I think Cady took it)
Gramma DOES love the babies as much as Papa does... I'm just usually the one TAKING the pics. it's nice to be in them every once in awhile.
oh lookie... she has enough hair for 2 piggie tails.... how cute??
she has such a fun personality... and such a pretty little girl.
I ran to wal-mart to pick up some random stuff we needed.....all of a sudden I heard someone yell, "Jamie Reeves!!!". I turned around to see Drew & Victoria coming up to the store with Jhace in the carseat. Victoria was laughing and said, "you have just GOT to see this". I peeked into his car seat to find him asleep with his binky in his mouth like this.... LOL... can you say TOO CUTE!!!
I took this pic with my phone, so its not as clear and bright. But am so glad to have a photo.
Before I left for work, I was blessed enough to be able to not only see this beautiful full rainbow... but to capture it on my camera.
There is a poem that I learned as a young teenager that flits through my head each time I see a rainbow....
Priorities
take time to smell the lilacs and smell the warm bright sun. take time to look at rainbows don't wait til work is done there will always be a cobweb some fingermarks are rust, weeds to pull, a lawn to mow or something gathering dust we must remember lilacs bloom just once a year and you can see a rainbow only when it's here ~shirley harvey~
looking back on this photo and remembering this poem at this time.... I find so much more meaning in it..
enjoy the little things around you.... you don't know what may happen tomorrow!
