16 Jun 09 - Where I work

since February 2004, I've been a full time employee at the Horton Community Hospital. (also known for a few years as the Northeast Kansas Center for Health and Wellness..... I like Horton Hospital much better)

HCH is a small, 25 bed rural hospital that serves our local community very well.

There is a really nice scrapbook that has some of the history of the hospital. One day I'll get better images, but for now, I only had my cell phone to snap a couple pics.

soon construction will begin on a "new new" Horton Community Hospital, but until then, we continue to enjoy the facilities we have and try to keep them looking nice.

{the side garden. I love this spot. in the spring and early summer it is absolutely beautiful and will make patient's smile when they look out their window to view the lovely flowers}
